CUMMING, GA (April 13, 2020) – It has never been easier to get your billing statement delivered straight to your inbox. Not only is it safe and secure, but it is also easy to set up and there is zero contact. In fact, with Sawnee EMC’s paperless billing option, members receive the exact same bill as they would in the mail, just by a more convenient, and sometimes more reliable, delivery system. Sawnee EMC members that currently receive a paper bill are encouraged to sign up for paperless billing.
Receiving and viewing a paperless monthly billing statement is easier, faster and more convenient. “With paperless billing, our members can receive their monthly billing statement by email without worry if it has been lost in the mail or if it has been delayed for any reason,” states Blake House, Vice President of Member Services. Members with Sawnee’s paperless billing service receive a safe and secure link, via email, that will allow them to view a PDF of their monthly billing statement. The PDF of the billing statement is identical to the paper bill that would be received through the mail. Currently, over 60,000 Sawnee members already enjoy the convenience of paperless billing each and every month.
It's easy to enroll. Members can sign up for paperless billing by one of the following methods:
- Visit Sawnee’s SmartHub account management portal at www.sawnee.com or log into Sawnee’s free app, available by searching “Sawnee EMC” in the App Store or Google Play. Upon opening either option you will be prompted to activate paperless billing on your account.
- Call the Customer Call Center at 770-887-2363.
- Text Sawnee EMC at 678-999-8124.
- Chat online at www.sawnee.com.
In addition to an email, Sawnee members can receive a text notification when their bill is ready to view. Text notification for paperless billing, as well as other notification options, are available under “Manage Notifications” in SmartHub at www.sawnee.com.
